What Happens During Your First Month At Sanctuary?
Starting at a new gym can feel intimidating.
You might be wondering if you'll be fit enough, whether you'll know what you're doing, or how you'll fit exercise into your already busy schedule.
That's exactly why we've designed our onboarding process to make your first month as simple, supportive and stress-free as possible.
Week 1: Your Free Trial
We always start with a free week trial.
This gives you the opportunity to experience our classes, meet our coaches and get a feel for the community before making any commitment.
During your trial, you'll be able to attend as many sessions as you'd like, allowing you to explore different classes and discover what you enjoy most.
More importantly, it gives us a chance to get to know you, your goals and how we can best support you.
Weeks 1-4: Weekly Member Meetings
Once you join, you'll receive a weekly member meeting with one of our coaches during your first four weeks.
These short check-ins are designed to help you settle into your new routine and ensure you're getting the most from your membership.
During these meetings we'll help you:
Build a realistic training routine that fits around your lifestyle
Answer any questions about classes or exercises
Set clear and achievable goals
Track your progress
Stay accountable and consistent
We know that consistency is often the biggest challenge when starting a fitness journey, so these meetings are designed to give you the support you need during those important first few weeks.
Optional Nutrition Support
If you'd like help with your nutrition, we can also use your weekly meetings to discuss calorie targets and food tracking.
Not everyone wants or needs to track calories, and that's absolutely fine.
However, for members with specific goals such as fat loss, muscle building or improving performance, we can provide guidance and help you understand the basics of nutrition in a simple and sustainable way.
Our goal isn't to give you restrictive meal plans or extreme diets.
Instead, we help you build healthier habits that you can maintain long-term.
Finding Your Routine
The first month isn't about being perfect.
It's about finding a routine that works for you.
Some members join having never stepped foot in a gym before. Others arrive with years of training experience but are looking for more structure, accountability and coaching.
